President Nicusor Dan said on Wednesday in Prague that, when 'an overwhelming majority' of Romanians say that the political crisis must end, there are 'good' chances that politicians will be persuaded to reach an agreement to this effect.
'I was asked this question (about the political crisis in Romania - ed.n.), but Mr President (of the Czech Republic - ed. n.) was not concerned that Romania would maintain its pro-Western direction. Of course, I briefly explained what is happening in Romania. I believe politicians need to look towards the people who gave them their mandate and, when an overwhelming majority of Romanians say that this crisis should end, there are good chances that politicians will be persuaded to reach an agreement that will bring this crisis to an end,' the head of state told a joint press conference with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.
