Thessaloniki mayor Stelios Angeloudis pays visit to Bucharest

Mayor of Thessaloniki Stelios Angeloudis is visiting Bucharest on Thursday and Friday for a series of meetings with Romanian officials.

According to information provided by the Embassy of Greece in Romania, the official will meet Patriarch Daniel on Thursday.

On the same day, Stelios Angeloudis is also scheduled to visit the exhibition 'Muntele Athos si Meteora 1929 - Comoara ascunsa a Pricentonului'/'Mount Athos and Meteora 1929 - Princeton's Hidden Treasure', which is on display in Bucharest at the Byzantine Foundation Gallery until October 1, 2026. He will also meet Dragos Zisopoulos, president of the Hellenic Union of Romania and a member of the Romanian Parliament representing the Greek minority.

The mayor of Greece's second-largest city will also meet representatives of the Greek business community at the 'Destination Thessaloniki' event.

On Friday, the mayor of Thessaloniki is scheduled to meet with the mayor of Bucharest.
