Locals in the northern part of Tulcea County received another RO-ALERT message on Monday morning, at around 6:55 am, warning them of the possibility of drones or fragments of drones falling, against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine.
In the extreme alert message, the authorities urged residents to remain calm and seek shelter in safe places for the next 90 minutes.
'If there is no shelter available, remain inside your home, away from windows and external walls,' the RO-ALERT message said.
Since the beginning of this year, the number of RO-ALERT messages sent by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to residents of Tulcea County, in the context of the war initiated by Russia in Ukraine, has surpassed the number of extreme alert messages sent across Romania for the same reason during the 2023-2025 period.
