Horse races, mounted archery demonstrations, fire equestrian stunts, a craft fair, horseback rides and children's activities are part of the programme for the 15th Székely Gallop, taking place on 11-12 September on Pivnitele Mari Hill in Moacsa.

The Székely Gallop, one of Transylvania's most popular equestrian events, draws several hundred spectators each year from Romania and abroad, with the highlight being the traditional races featuring riders from Covasna, Harghita and Mures counties.

According to the organisers, the opening of the 15th edition will be held on Friday, while four competitions are scheduled for Saturday.

'On the first day, Friday, 11 September, registration and the information point will be followed by the veterinary check, track inspection, draw and collection of outfits. The opening ceremony will take place between 18:00 and 19:00, including the flag-raising and oath-taking, officially marking the start of the competitive weekend. (...) On Saturday, 12 September, equestrian competitions begin early. From 9:00, the public can watch the Regional Carriage Championship Final, and between 12:00 and 14:00 the preliminary races for the Little Hussar Race, Children's Hussar Race, Gobe Race and the Székely Gallop. (...) The awards ceremony at 19:15 will close the official programme,' the organisers said.
