The top five startups from sectors such as logistics, AI, fintech, foodtech, and sustainability—which registered by September 4 for the second edition of the Tech Catalyst Romania competition—will present their solutions to the jury during the final on September 22; the winner will receive a €5,000 prize, according to a press release from the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR), an institution that has become a partner of the event.

'The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (...) is joining, as an institutional partner, the second edition of Tech Catalyst Romania—a competition launched by Glovo for Romanian startups in the scaling phase that are developing technological solutions impacting cities and urban life (...) Startups can register until September 4, 2026, by filling out the form available on the competition's webpage. Applications will be evaluated online between September 7 and 11, and the top five startups will be selected for the final on September 22, where they will present their solutions to the jury. In addition to a €5,000 prize, the winning team will have the opportunity to send two representatives to StartUp Campus 2026—held in Barcelona from October 6 to 8—where they will benefit from three days of mentoring, masterclasses, networking with investors and industry experts, and direct access to Glovo's leadership team,' states the press release sent to AGERPRES on Friday.

According to the cited source, through Tech Catalyst, the ADR will help align startups with national digital transformation priorities, supporting the identification of solutions applicable to—and impactful for—city development and digital services for citizens.
