Barlad firefighters rescue a horse that fell between the tracks on an iron railway bridge

Firefighters from the Barlad Detachment of the Vaslui Emergency Management Inspectorate (ISU) intervened Saturday to rescue a horse that had fallen between the tracks on the iron railway bridge on the outskirts of Barlad.

According to ISU Vaslui, 'the horse attempted to cross the railway bridge but fell with its legs trapped between the railroad ties, remaining suspended on its abdomen. Emergency responders contacted regional staff from the National Railway Company. Following the intervention of Barlad firefighters, the animal was safely extricated from the tracks.'
