The Social Democratic Party (PSD) National Standing Bureau on Monday decided not to support the government to be formed by Prime Minister-designate Siegfried Muresan.
'The National Standing Bureau of the Social Democratic Party decided today not to vote for the Bolojan 2.0 Government. This recommendation from the National Standing Bureau will be submitted to the National Political Council, which is the political body, according to the party statutes, able to make decisions in situations of this kind. As the PSD said three weeks ago in Sinaia, it will only vote for a government in which it participates. In doing so, the PSD is putting a stop to the continuation of policies that impoverish Romanians and the Romanian economy,' PSD Chairman Sorin Grindeanu said at the party's headquarters.
