Over 15,000 business participants from Romania and the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region are expected at the 15th-anniversary edition of GoTech World, to be held in Bucharest on 10 - 11 November, the organisers said in a press release.

The event - the largest B2B expo-conference for IT and digital solutions in CEE - brings together the region's business and technology community across an agenda featuring 12 thematic stages, including Main Stage, AI in Marketing & eCommerce, Business Transformation, Cybersecurity, AI Stage, Developers Stage, Visionaries Stage and the Coding Area.

According to the cited source, more than 15,000 business participants from Romania and the region - including over 7,400 C-level executives - will represent over 6,200 companies across industries ranging from IT, retail and banking to automotive, energy, healthcare, advertising and the public sector.

Across the two conference days, several activities are scheduled, including a live demonstration of the SenseGlove R1 haptic gloves, where a robotic arm will grasp various objects while the glove user experiences a natural sense of touch and manipulation.

Speakers will also address topics such as brand integration into culture (now shaped by Artificial Intelligence), Europe's digital sovereignty, the Cyber Resilience Act, Zero Trust architecture, preparing for the Quantum era, scaling businesses beyond the local market, building high-performance teams, monetising creativity and authentic leadership.

GoTech World 2026 will also host the Smart Home Summit and the Tax & Technology Summit, the region's leading event dedicated to home and building automation technologies, now in its third edition.

The Tax & Technology Summit, returning for the second consecutive year at the initiative of the Chamber of Tax Consultants, will bring together tax authorities, entrepreneurs, tax consultants, accountants, auditors, lawyers and fintech innovators, aiming to build a shared perspective on transformations in the fiscal and financial-accounting fields and on how technology is reshaping these professions.
