President Nicusor Dan said on Thursday that he will nominate a candidate for prime minister 'in the coming days', noting that the public is waiting for a government to be formed.

'In the coming days. Obviously, the public is waiting for us to have a government. Discussions have been taking place throughout this period. I haven't taken much action because many MPs were on holiday and, as you know, a vote requires their physical presence, but the time has come to settle the programme,' Nicusor Dan said when asked when he would nominate a prime minister.
