President Dan pays visit to Republic of Moldova; to attend Independence Day ceremonies

President Nicusor Dan is paying a visit to the Republic of Moldova on Thursday, where he will attend events organised to mark the Independence Day.

According to the schedule announced by the Presidential Administration, in the first part of the day, the head of state will tour the construction site of the 'Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu' Republican Musical-Dramatic Theatre in the municipality of Cahul and the 'Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu' University Centre in the same locality.

Later, President Nicusor Dan will be welcomed by President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, at the Presidential Palace in Chisinau.

The two heads of state will attend the military parade organised to mark the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, an event that will take place in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau. In the evening, a trilateral meeting will be held with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at the Presidential Palace.

Moreover, Presidents Nicusor Dan, Maia Sandu and Volodymyr Zelenskyy will attend on Thursday evening the festive concert dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova. AGERPRES (RO - writing by: Dana Malache; EN - writing by: Rodica State)
