Drones detected near the river border with Ukraine; two F-16 aircraft scrambled

The radar surveillance system of the Ministry of National Defense detected a group of air targets in the vicinity of the river border with Ukraine on Thursday evening, two F-16 aircraft from the 86th Borcea Air Base being scrambled at 9:12 p.m. to monitor the situation.

The National Military Command Center notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the establishment of alerting measures for the population in Tulcea County, which transmitted the RO-ALERT text message, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of National Defense.
