President Dan sent Romania's Chief of Defense and me to Washington DC to meet with Trump Administration (Lazurca)

Presidential advisor Marius Lazurca announced on Monday that he was sent by President Nicusor Dan to Washington DC to meet with the Trump Administration and Congressional leaders.

Lazurca will be accompanied by Chief of Defense Gheorghita Vlad.

''President Dan sent Romania's Chief of Defense and me to Washington DC to meet with the Trump Administration and Congressional leaders to advance our Black Sea security alignment,'' he wrote on X platform.

Lazurca reminded that ''courageous Romanian pilots flying American-made F-16s have knocked out 3 Russian drones over the past three days.''

''These threats remind us how important our strong security partnership with the United States is, and how grateful we are for it.
