SANITAS Federation obtains suspension of procedure on salary bill in court

The Bucharest Court of Appeal admitted on Tuesday a request by the SANITAS Federation [of healthcare staff] and ordered the suspension of the procedure of the draft law on the remuneration of personnel paid from public funds posted on the website of the Ministry of Labor.

'[The court] admits the request. It suspends the procedure of the draft law on the remuneration of personnel paid from public funds, posted on the defendant's website on July 17, 2026, under the Press Releases section, until the final resolution of file no. 3657/2/2026. With the right to file an appeal, within 5 days from the communication, which is submitted to the Bucharest Court of Appeal. Pronounced by making the solution available to the parties, through the court registry, today, July 21, 2026', the court's ruling reads.
