President Nicusor Dan declared on Wednesday, regarding the declassification of the aid granted to Ukraine, that considering that it has a military component, it is good to remain 'secret'.

He specified that the aid that Romania or other countries gave to Ukraine sometimes consisted of money, sometimes of equipment.

'Here it is a matter that has a military component, because the aid that Romania or other states gave to Ukraine was sometimes aid in money and other times aid in equipment. At the moment when a country takes some equipment from its defense capabilities and moves them to another place, sometimes it is good to remain a military secret', said the head of state.

The statements were made in Kyiv, where the President of Romania participated in the Ukraine - Eastern Europe Summit. AGERPRES(RO - writing by: Georgiana Tanasescu; EN - writing by: Bogdan Gabaroi)
