Prince Radu met on Monday with the interim ministers of Foreign Affairs, Oana Toiu, and Defense, Radu Miruta, the discussions focused on the public actions of the Royal Family in the second half of 2026, to strengthen our country's position within the European Union and NATO.

'On behalf of His Majesty, Prince Radu held a dialogue with high dignitaries on the topic of the Royal Family's public actions in the second half of 2026, to consolidate our country's position within the European Union and NATO, as well as to support Romania's efforts for stability on the Eastern flank of the EU and NATO and in the European neighborhood. The Royal Family's support, in line with the institutions of the Romanian state, for the European path of the Republic of Moldova was discussed,' the Royal Family's Facebook page states.



Prince Radu offered the two members of the Bologna Cabinet two of the first copies of the 'Royal House of Romania 160' medal, minted by the State Mint on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the founding of the Royal House and the constitutional and institutional construction of the modern Romanian state.
