Prime Minister-designate Adrian Vestea announces that he will have a meeting with AUR President George Simion, stressing that he is 'a man of dialogue' and understands the responsibility to put an end to 'political chaos'.
'I am a man of dialogue and consensus. Understanding the responsibility that falls onto me to put an end to political chaos, I will have a meeting with AUR President George Simion. When it comes to Romania and resolving an unprecedented crisis, I assume an open dialogue with any political party voted for by Romanians. I believe it is mandatory if we want to have, in the true sense of the word, a Government of Romania', Vestea wrote on Facebook on Monday.
AUR President George Simion declared on Monday that the Vestea Government will not have the votes of his party at the investiture in the joint plenum and added that he is waiting for the prime minister-designate at the AUR headquarters until 8:00 p.m., noting that AUR is willing to contribute to an effort of consensus, of reconciliation.
Simion stated in a press conference that, 'if there is a vote' for this government on Monday evening, the AUR parliamentarians will leave the hall.
