The Ministry of National Defense (MApN) announced that, between June 25 and 27, the multinational military drill NOBLE BLUEPRINT 2026 (NOBL26) will be taking place in Romania, a training activity organized under the coordination of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, in cooperation with the Joint Forces Command.

According to a press release from the MApN sent to AGERPRES on Monday, the main objective of the drill is to train and validate specific sequences from the Regional Obstacle Plan - South-East, by synchronizing and coordinating operational and tactical planning activities in an allied and multinational context.

'The planned activities include working sessions dedicated to planning mobility and countermobility measures, coordination of actions between the participating structures, as well as field reconnaissance carried out in the Focsanilor Gate area. The Focsanilor Gate represents one of the most important strategic areas on NATO's Eastern Flank, playing an essential role in ensuring the mobility of allied forces and in strengthening the response and defense capacity in the Black Sea region,' the press release informs.

The NOBLE BLUEPRINT 2026 exercise aims to increase the interoperability capacity between the participating structures, improve multinational planning and coordination processes, and strengthen NATO's deterrence and defense posture on the Eastern Flank, the Ministry of National Defense informs.
