Greek Minister of Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis was received on Saturday by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel at the Patriarchal Residence; discussions focused on relations between the two countries, current challenges, and the role of social cohesion.

The Greek finance minister noted that the meeting also addressed ways to support social cohesion and how 'we could do more for our societies and our peoples''. On this occasion, the Patriarch presented the Greek officials with several volumes published by the Romanian Patriarchate and authored by His Beatitude.
