Circulation of international trains from Hungary modified as infrastructure works roll on

The circulation of international trains from Hungary will undergo changes between August 30 and November 3, 2026, due to works on the railway infrastructure on the Budapest - Szolnok - Lokoshaza and Budapest - Szolnok - Debrecen sections, CFR Calatori reported on Monday.

According to a communication from the Hungarian railway administration MAV Start regarding the mentioned works, the international trains IR 73 Budapest Keleti - Bucharest North, IR 75 Budapest Keleti - Cluj Napoca, IR 79 Budapest Keleti - Bucharest North, IR 371 Budapest Keleti - Arad, IR 375 Budapest Keleti - Arad, IR 377 Budapest Keleti - Timisoara North, IR 379 Budapest Keleti - Arad and IR 473 Budapest Keleti - Bucharest North will depart from Budapest Keleti station five minutes earlier than scheduled.
