Prime Minister-designate Siegfried Muresan submitted the government programme and the list of proposed ministers to Parliament on Saturday.

'I submitted this morning, first to the Senate and then to the Chamber of Deputies, (...) the government programme and the full list of ministers. In just five days, together with our colleagues, experts and specialists from the three parties supporting this government - the National Liberal Party (PNL), Save Romania Union (USR) and the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) - we managed to draw up and submit an extremely concrete, detailed and comprehensive programme containing 372 specific measures that the Government will implement for Romania. We also managed to submit a list of ministers who are capable, responsible and serious, and who will implement the government programme,' Muresan said at a press conference.

The team with which Siegfried Muresan will go before Parliament is as follows: Mircea Abrudean (National Liberal Party - PNL) - Minister of Internal Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Radu Miruta (Save Romania Union - USR) - Minister of National Defence and Deputy Prime Minister, Tanczos Barna (Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania - UDMR) - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Deputy Prime Minister, Andrea Chis (independent) - Minister of Justice, Alexandru Nazare (PNL) - Minister of Finance, Oana Toiu (USR) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Gheorghiu (PNL) - Minister of Health, Catalin Drula (USR) - Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Cseke Attila (UDMR) - Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, Raluca Turcan (PNL) - Minister of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity, Dragos Pîslaru (PNL) - Minister of European Investment and Projects, Irineu Darau (USR) - Minister of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Diana Buzoianu (USR) - Minister of the Enviro nment, Water and Forests, Sebastian Burduja (PNL) - Minister of Energy, Bulcsu Koppany Otvos (UDMR) - Minister of Culture, Mihai Dimian (PNL) - Minister of Education and Research.
